Tried out the new carnival at The Fort. Eurostar Carnival - they called it. It was a traveling carnival and has already been in and out of Japan, Hongkong, Australia, etc.

It isn't as big as I expected, it's roughly about one-third of Enchanted Kingdom. But it was a choice between Mini-golf or the carnival. The carnival won, hands down. You have to shell out P400, ride-all-you-can and it comes with a P50 food stub. And if you're feeling weak in the stomach just go for the P150 admission fee. Not bad for something new.

We were quite lucky enough to be there at the Grand Opening. They had a grand fireworks display and filipina can-can dancers (who were wearing yellow boy shorts under their skirts, tsk tsk >.<), a band, and a magician who performed the usual sword-in-the-box-with-assistant-inside skit.

Eurostar has at least 11 rides; 4 kiddie rides, and 7 adult rides. I skipped out on two adult rides. Just seeing how the ride worked made me sick to the stomach.

This is one of the rides I let pass. I'm not quite sure if I have the name correct, it's supposed to be called "The Flew." Nearing the height of the Ferris Wheel, there rests a set of 4 seats on each end of the pole. It starts by spinning you in the air and heightens the force by spinning the seats while you're doing a wide 360- it's a double 360 at that.

Another ride I chickened out of was called "The Hanger." Its basic shape is that of Anchors Away at Enchanted, but with a slight twist - not only does it swing front and back , but it actually completes the circle and hangs you upside down for 10 seconds. O.o

They also have other rides such as "The Booster" - I won't describe it so you can see it for yourself, it'll first come off as an "easy" ride, but it's not. I felt my guts on that ride. "The Flipper" is one hell of a ride that drains you all of your energy right after you get off.

Usual rides like the Ferris wheel, bumper cars, wild river, carousel are also there. I took this shot of Peter while we were on the Ferris wheel. And he took a shot of me when we got down.

Overall, we had a blast. The food inside is a bit expensive though, so I suggest you grab something to eat after the carnival. ^_^
